By and By

A Cleaner Alki is a community cleanup group based out of West Seattle. In Chinook jargon, “Alki” means “By and By”, this is the vision of our cleanup movement—that over time, through consistency and fellowship we can help create a cleaner, safer and more connected community in which to live.

We strive to make this difference throughout Seattle neighborhoods, with daily cleanup and Sprucing opportunities. Explore our Group Events, a self-led Block Drop, or try both!

Join like-minded neighbors seeking to create a culture of environmental stewardship in the Pacific Northwest. Building community through purposeful action and fellowship — A Cleaner Alki (By and By).

With Gratitude

We acknowledge that we live on the ancestral lands of the Puget Salish, the Duwamish and Suquamish tribes, the First People of Seattle.

They valued, watched over and stewarded the lands and waterways we now live on and seek to care for. Our work is to honor the land itself and Indigenous Peoples everywhere.
