We received a special Block Drop request for a previously unused property behind Whole Foods that neighbors are helping to convert to a community open space and doggie hangout. There isn’t a ton of trash in the actual park, but the surrounding neighborhood could use some help and we can certainly add some beautification to the area including blackberry trimming along the fence line and edging along the sidewalk. We’ll set up along the park’s edge at 4731 40th Ave SW right across the street from the Masonic Center. The station will be out from 9am to 6pm. Drop by when you can and we’ll collect the goods at the end of the day.

We typically find it easiest to collect trash in a bucket and then dump into the yellow Community Cleanup bags when you fill up. Please leave bags and tools by the sign and off of the sidewalk so we don’t impede pedestrians. Have fun!
