We were asked by a large Girl Scout group to help facilitate a cleanup of Camp Long on Sunday. That will happen, but in my scouting I discovered the park looks pretty nice trash-wise. I talked to a groundskeeper who mentioned that they have some blackberry and ivy that could use some help though so I thought I’d see if the older scouts and anyone in our group would like to do some Sprucing while the younger kids scour the area for micro trash. We’ll just meet down in the big field before the kids arrive at 10:30am and get folks going as I’ll need to meet up with them as they arrive. The plan will be to just make piles of blackberry and ivy and then I’ll let the groundskeeper know where he can pick up on Monday morning.
