Group member Scott reached out about Sprucing up SW Manning St, which is the little dog leg street between Admiral and Avalon by Avalon Glass and Luna Park Cafe. In particular he wanted to see the blackberries that are out to the road trimmed back for visibility. There are also some good opportunities to cut back on the east side of the street where there’s a sidewalk and staircase that are likewise being taken over. We’ll give it an initial whack and see what we can get done!
Parking & Meet-Up Parking isn’t great here. Park along Avalon or Harbor Ave. I’m hoping to pull the van up with tools at Avalon Glass at the bottom of the hill but will reach out to them about taking up one of their spots.
