We have cleaned at Marginal Place multiple times over the past several years due to the high traffic from illegal activities and dumping. The area was just cleared of a long time RV encampment and this will be the first time back since the clearing. Weather doesn’t look great so could be a good excuse for simply working the bike path and area under the bridge where we can stay dry-ish ;)

The cleanup will be under the WS Bridge and along the bike path and surrounding areas. The mission will be to create a safer environment for bicyclists and pedestrians who use this area to pass thru on their commutes. Currently garbage, broken glass, and many discarded items make this a hazardous area to travel.

Parking & Meet-Up
Depending on how the city has the area set up, we can either park where the “Road Closed” sign is on Marginal Place or further down the street and walk up towards the bridge by the cul-de-sac. I’ll have my phone on me if you need to reach out at 206-852-9552.
