This is a special request by group member Roxanne who recently traveled through the area. We’ll be cleaning along 1st & 2nd Ave S. in the area around Shree’s Truck Stop and the entrance to 509. Because parking there is non-existent we’ll park one block north at Pacific Rim Rentals.

The cleanup will be along the main road and up against barricades so we’ll want to practice utmost safety and be aware of our surroundings. This will probably be and area where we can rake first and then follow with hand rakes and finish with grabbers as it is so think in areas. There are also blackberries growing in the area catching a lot of debris.

Parking & Meet-Up
The area has recently been totally blocked off along the surface street with No-Go concrete blocks so parking is net great at the truck stop. I will reach out to Pacific Rim Rentals at 7745 1st Ave S. which is one block north of Shree’s and right across from the 509 on ramp.
