This will be our third trip Sprucing the Admiral Junction in the past weeks. Lots of trees with sucker overgrowth encroaching on the sidewalk, foxtail grass and other weeds to remove in planting beds.

Tuesday we’ll focus on the north side of Admiral between 7-11 and Met Market. If we complete that stretch we’ll continue south on California towards Lafayette Elementary. We’ll bag cut material and haul it away.

Like usual we’ll pick litter as we go, but the main focus will be on tidying up where foliage is encroaching or overtaken sidewalks and reducing visibility, where leaves and debris are clogging storm drains and piling on stairs, or weeds are coming up through cracks and creating hazards. The goal will be to create a safer, tidier environment with curb appeal and better line of sight. Cut material will be placed into yard waste bags to haul away.

We’ll start work at the California & Admiral intersection and spread out in all directions from there.
