I’ve recently been put in touch with SDOT’s Street End director for West Seattle after our blackberry removal by Salty’s. He gave me a list of other helpful areas that could use some love and we’ll dive into Weather Watch Park for a two day cleanup to see what all we can get done. There will be trash pickup and lots of ivy and blackberry removal to help the SDOT gardeners get at what they’d like to be working on. Whatever we don’t get done over Wednesday and Thursday we’ll get back to in the coming weeks.
The area up top along the sidewalk is fairly flat and easy to manage. The beach area is very crowded with logs right now so we’ll try to be very careful with where we’re walking so as to not be slipping and falling as working on the beach side of the hillside will be harder to access.
