We’ll head back to work on the street end at the intersection of Lander and Walnut streets on the northeast corner of Hiawatha Park. The street end is overgrown with ivy, clematis, blackberry and other invasives blocking the layered view of the greenspace behind that drops down into the Fairmount ravine. Last week we cleared a huge amount of clematis and ivy off the guard rail and tree behind it. This next trip will head further back into the woods and hillside to start ringing the trees and continue to open up the view of the ravine.
Park along Lander or Walnut, but not at the street end.
