This is part of an ongoing cleanup series starting up in July and I told Andrea we’d help support her efforts where we could. Because this is a support clean I’m simply passing along the info I have to date as We Heart Seattle will be in charge of planning.

This is an abandoned encampment cleanup that has been organized by We Heart Seattle. This is just the removal of garbage and not a clearing of anyone living out in the woods. Andrea has buy-in from the people living in the camp to come help in the cleanup. That said, the area will be a grittier style clean.

Vests, gloves, buckets and pickup sticks will be provided. Dress in appropriate clothes, long pants and protected feet.
