Dustin is a West Seattle cleanup friend who is hosting another Highland Park Way cleanup next Saturday. Donuts & cleanup gear provided!

Highland Park Way is a main thoroughfare in and out of West Seattle. The hill in particular needs some love and depending on how many folks show up we can likewise clean in the neighborhoods at the top of the hill along Holden and at the bottom of the hill where the road heads east towards 99.

For folks looking for a family-friendly section I'd suggest walking the residential areas west of the hill top along Holden towards Riverview Playfield.

Vests, gloves, buckets and pickup sticks will be provided. Dress for the weather, the environment on the hillside includes blackberry bushes and lots of debris from car wrecks and dumped materials.

Parking: Park in the neighborhoods at the top of the hill, I'll set up the gear somewhere safe near the SW Holden and Highland Park Way intersection at the top of the hill so parties can head out in all directions. We’ll work in groups and will be practicing safety first and foremost — especially those cleaning on the west side of Highland Park Way which has no sidewalk or shoulder. Come for as little or as much as you’d like...bring a friend.
