This area was just recently cleared of an illegal dumping area that has plagued the hillside for years underneath the iconic Eagle’s Nest. While the city did a great job getting the bulk of the trash off the hill, there’s always more, so our goal will be to go in and do a deeper support clean—getting as much of the fine trash out as we can and likely running into some pockets along the way that got missed.

It would be great for anyone who had seen the hill in its filthy glory to get to see it now on its way to recovery. This is a real success story for our community and we look to continue to check in on the spot and not let this happen again.

Parking & Meet-Up
