Seattle Parks / Forest Steward Collab

  • Admiral Way Greenbelt 3508 SW Admiral Way Seattle, WA, 98126 (map)

We'll be jumping out to assist Heather Scott who is a Seattle Parks & Rec Forest Steward for Thursday’s cleanup. We helped haul wood chips with Heather in Schmitz Park at the end of 2023 and will get to know her better during this series event that will likely be a weekly visit for the coming month or so. We’ll be concentrating on a stretch right off the Admiral Way sidewalk clearing English Ivy, Blackberry, Clematis and other invasives to prep the area for Heather to replace with native plants. Although mainly a Spruced event, there’s always garbage to be had too.

Parking & Meet-Up
There’s a little parking area along Admiral just south of where we’ll be working, just be mindful of the bike lane which we won’t want to be parking in. If those spots fill up you can park at the overlook pullout at the top of Admiral or across the street next to the park. Feel free to reach out at 206-852-9552 (Erik)
