Spruced! / Pigeon Point Sidewalk

  • 22nd & 23rd Hillside Sidewalk 4757 22nd Ave SW Seattle, WA, 98106 (map)

We were reached out to by a Pathfinder Mom who appreciated the Sprucing project we did last Fall at the intersection of 21st & 22nd on Pigeon Point. She asked if we could continue the Sprucing work down the hill to regain the sidewalk for pedestrians from that intersection all the way down to Delridge which includes 22nd & 23rd Ave SW. I believe this will be doable in a single session but we’ll take an initial stab and see how it goes. This section of sidewalk runs adjacent to the backs and fronts of many residential properties so we’ll be very mindful of what we’re working on so as to better the neighborhood without infringing on people’s yards. Let’s measure twice and cut once on this one.

Parking & Meet-Up
There’s no real parking along the hill so we’ll likely want to park along 21st at the top of the hill and then cart tools down, though you can see what you can find on some of the side streets that tie into 22nd & 23rd as there may be some opportunities in the middle of the hill. Feel free to reach out at 206-852-9552 (Erik)
